20 – Freeway Twoey
Twoey is the new comer on the list. The up and coming artist has been rapping for less than a year but has been extremely activated. Freeway has the confidence and personality that makes it hard to not like his catchy trap anthems. Check out some of his work below and let us know what you think.
19 – Mazon
Mazon has given a freestyle every week for as long as we can remember. He is the definition of Hip-Hop. The artist/entrepreneur also has a sneaker brand “Novique”. Check out his brand and music today!
18 – King Fattz
King Fattz making the list is no surprise. He has been one of the hardest working artist in Central PA for a while now and has shown growth in his craft year after year. Check out his dope visual for “Polaroid” below!
17 – MoneymanMeach
Moneymanmeach might have the hottest song of the year with “Lost Dreams”. Meach is a hit single just waiting to happen. Check out the video for “Lost Dreams” below featuring GLR Gusto.
16 – GLR Gusto (FIJI)
Welcome home GLR! GLR had one of the biggest records in the country with “So Sweet” before going to prison and doing a 5 year sentence. Since returning GLR has wasted no time picking right back up where he left at!
15 – JBG Turk
Turkio! Turk has the flow that every major artist is trying to emulate in the industry right now. The Harrisburg native is a young legend. Adding Turk to your song instantly gives you credibility in the city.
14 – Cordell
Cordell is one of those artist we need to give his flowers while he can still smell them! He made an entire album about Harrisburg. Anybody that is from Harrisburg or ever lived there can relate to “A Seven Seventeen Story”.
13 – Play Skool
SkoolDaGoon has not let the pandemic slow his grind down. Traveling state to state networking and spreading his brand. The hard work is starting to pay off!
12 – Locobaby
Loco has been consistently rising through the ranks nationally over the years. The HBG native has lived in Atlanta, LA and other major cities over the past few years, networking with major artist and producers in each region. Check out his new video “Right Now” below.

Tr!z may have had the most productive year of any artist on the list joining forces with Houston heavy hitters Bun B and Slim Thug. The artist/producer has been releasing singles all year building anticipation for his upcoming project.

Fatty Sav could have easily been #1 on the list. The Harrisburg native is also a huge TikTok star to go along with his music notoriety. Fatty Sav could be the best trap/drill rapper on the list.
3 – Yung Faucet
Yung Faucet is the wild card on the list. Unless you did your research you may not know Yung Faucet was from Central PA. The trap artist has been one of the most consistent artist coming out of the state. He featured with multiple artist on this list and has projects on major media outlets like WorldstarHipHop.com.
2 – Genre
We have Genre this high on the list for a reason. He may be the most versatile artist on this list. That combined with quality production Genre has set the bar high and is looking like he could be the next breakout artist from Central PA.
1 – Lil Rekk
Lil Rekk has done more in a year than most artist accomplish in a career. Since signing to High Bridge the Label, Lil Rekk has kept his foot on the gas releasing his “World Plus” EP and collabing with artist like Don Q, Trapboy Manny and more. 2022 is looking like another life changing year for the PA native!
