Arena Football has a rich history in the New York/New Jersey area dating back to the New York Knights which played at Madison Square Garden in 1988.

New York had been without an Arena Football team since 2008 when the New York Dragons completed an eight year run at the Nassau Coliseum.

Arena Football features an eight on eight format played on a 50 yard field surrounded by dasher boards.

Ben Dupree and Leroy McClain were invited to an open tryout at the NY Jets practice facility this past weekend where both put on amazing performances! Dupree earned the opportunity to play DB and return specialist and McClain showed his ability to not only route run but use his speed and quickness to earn the opportunity to play WR. Both Dupree and McClain were electrifying in college and will be fun to watch play in Arena!

NY Streets will be led by veteran Arena Football Head Coach Rick Marsilio. Marsillio is a former OC for Bishop McDevitt Highschool who has coached NCAA standouts Kobay White and Bryce Hall. Former Syracuse quarterback David Legree will be the QB this season and aim to lead the NY Streets to the 2019 NAL title!

Good luck Ben and Leroy!
