The Harrisburg Cougars (13-1), winners of 13 straight since its 37-6 setback to Coatesville in the first week of the season, will play St. Joseph’s Prep at HP Stadium at 6 p.m. Saturday for the 6A Pennsylvania State Championship.
The Cougars have overcame adversity and have been exceeding expectations all season and next week will have to be no different as they face St. Joseph’s Prep who is arguably one of the most talented teams in the Country.
This is St. Joe’s Prep 3rd time in a row reaching the 6A state finals winning against Central Catholic in 2016 and losing in 2017 to Pine Richland.
Headlining for the Philadelphia private school are Marvin Harrison Jr. & Jeremiah Trotter Jr. Both are the sons of former NFL Legends.
But St.Joes Prep hasn’t seen a team like the Cougars yet. A team that is filled with equal amount of athletes if not more that is also returning to the State Championship.
Headlining for the Cougars is Texas A&M recruit Andrew White Jr. & QB Kane Everson.
St. Joes Prep will be in for a long day trying to deal with Kane Everson. He is arguably the most athletic Quarterback in the State and can take it to the house from any where on the field.
Kane Everson @kane_everson just did this and it’s 21-10 Harrisburg with 5 seconds to go in first half. XP was no good pic.twitter.com/YLeDOFfcYV

On the Defensive side Andre White Jr. has done what you would expect a highly recruited Texas A&M commit to to do; cause pure havoc!

This should be a game to remember!
See you at Hershey Park Stadium at 6 p.m. Saturday!
How can you not root for the Harrisburg Cougars!?
You can see how much this 27-24 victory over Coatesville in the @PIAASports Class 6A State Semifinals meant to QB @kane_everson!
