No Limit Records founder, Master P proves once again, that he is a jack of all trades. With a slew of business ventures throughout the years, Master P has recently announced that he has partnered with ex-Tesla engineer, Richard Patterson, to create Trion Supercars, the first black-owned supercar company, and manufacturer in the U.S.

The New Orleans rapper has recently announced on Instagram that Patterson will head up the company as CEO of Trion. Patterson is a veteran in the automotive field, having designed Tesla’s Model S from scratch, as well as landing gear on the Boeing 777 and the Dodge Minivan’s folding seat system.

Master P, also known as Percy Miller, discusses the partnership with Patterson in an Instagram post, “Mr. Patterson has gone on to create his own supercar the Nemesis RR, adding diversity in the automotive industry and empowering a culture of dreamers… In addition to the Nemesis RR models, Trion Supercars is currently in the process of creating affordable luxury SUVs and cars for the masses. www.TrionSuperCars.com.”

Patterson is dubbed a “genius” in Master P’s recent statement per HotNewHipHop, praising him in his creations for developing “the blueprint for the next era of supercars.” He adds, “It’s time for us to change the narrative for our culture by offering economic empowerment with this partnership…The Nemesis RR is about the superb performance, head-turning appearance, and technical innovation that creates the blueprint for the next era of supercars.”

It comes as no surprise that Miller continues to make innovative moves in the business world to provide Black-ownership to brands. Back in December, the rapper was said to have been interested in buying Reebok from adidas. Master P has also created his own Aunt Jemima substitute, further adding to his goal of “[putting] money back in [Black] communities”.
