The previous record for most points scored in a District III Boys Basketball Championship game was 89, scored by Steelton-Highspire in 2004 as they defeated Northeastern 89-48 in the Class 3A title game.

Steel High’s 92 points scored against Antietam on February 27th, 2019 broke that record. Check out the mini-documentary below & good luck in the next round Steel-High!

Mehki Flowers and Chris Walls led four Rollers in double figures Tuesday as Steel-High ran top-seeded Antietam up and down Giant Center for a 92-57 victory in the District 3 Class 2A finale.

Flowers was a particularly painful thorn for head coach Mike Green’s Mountaineers, posting 30 points on 13 field goals, 16 of those points coming in a fast and seamless first-half by the Rollers.

Walls added 19 points while guards Erick Dickey (15 points) and Vashon Spencer (15 points) joined the double-digit parade. h
